What does dsm stand for?

i know a handful of dsm's around my area that i cant even touch from a dig or on the highway...a few of them even into the low 11's with fwd...those cars are pretty decent tuner cars and they have more parts available for them then we do for ours...But as its been said crank walk ownzzzz all those motors and they are pretty much mongrols for the most part..cost efficient automotive tuning starts with the DSMs

They all require a timing belt replacement around 20k though. That should include the tensioner, which is one of the major reasons why they fuck up.
I read in the DSM forum that the acronym also stands for "Dick Sucking Male" in personal ads, which is funny, because there is a guy around here that has just "DSM" for a license plate and he was complaining that some gay dude was trying to pick him up in traffic and he had no idea why... lol

Yes, Thank you! I was just getting ready to say that 6bolt 4G's don't have the crankwalk problem. One of my buddies has an AWD Turbo DSM. I've owned a few and some other Mitsubishi's...so I'm from a Mitsu background. I cannot think of a car that has any competition with a DSM when it comes to spending small amounts and having a quick car. You can find them for so cheap sometimes, (my friend paid 800 for his in good condition, AWD). Just the smallest and simplest things will make this a 12 second car. They aren't bad...but nothing like a Supra:naughty: With Supras, just gotta have a little bit of money:evil2:

The sad thing is... A guy at the track last year had a talon that looked like it was in the same shape... I saw it at the gas station before and laughed...
Well I wasn't laughing when he put down a 12.7 a few hours later. Said he had a 300ZX TT and a Diesel truck and he picked up the dsm as a half-joke with his friends til the speed-bug bit him and started getting into it. Said the whole project cost him less than a few payments on his truck.
