Whats going on guys, Im looking at an 1989 turbo hardtop 130,000miles new clutch, brakes , struts, the only problem is that it doesen't run. the shop tells me its an "electronic issue", they changed the cam angle sensor but it didn't fix it, Its been sitting for a few months so Im hoping its something easy. Im gonna check for engine codes on monday, I Just want to hear some opinions on what it could be.

No one on these forums will take a guess at 'what it could be' without knowing exactly the car does or does not do (does it crank over or not etc etc) and knowing what codes the ecu throws at you.

If you can pick it up cheap, go for it. Shit if it was close to me I would pick it up, and the steering wheel was on the correct side .

Im voting it is a broken wire in the engine harness somewhere. Just start ohming from the TCCS to the wire end. If there were playing with the CPS do those 4 wires first.

I have to agree with thevork... WAY too little info given to provide any guesses. From what you've said, it could be anything from a bad fuel pump to a busted timming belt or anything between. Sorry dude... need more info.

Ha. no compression in num 6. condensation on oil cap... Fucken BHG ^_^ Oh well. my first rebuild thread...
