BOV is a copy, but someone made a thread about the Ebay BOVs and took it apart... found that they were made pretty well.

Yeah, they discovered that there's basically no difference between the bov copy and the real deal, except one comes with HKS on the outside and leaves your wallet much lighter.

that's either 14 or 16 gauge, that's pretty hefty....

I'd buy it. Just stick with the hose clamps, no T-Bolt clamps, you'll crush the piping.
Also, I'd get some silicone couplers from HighTempSilicone in the vendors section.
Try not to get the "CF Look BOV" either....

Otherwise, I'd be fine using that kit.

there shouldn't be any problems with the pipes, 16 guage is pretty stout.

I would guess it got closed because you got flamed and not because you asked the question...

I also asked a question in one of these threads about if a front facing intake manifold was needed or will it work with the stock manifold..

I am still wondering..

I bought that same kit for like 220 bucks. I bought it for the piping, thinking I could sell the IC and BOV and make most of my money back.
The piping was very good. 2.5 inch 16 gauge and it came with plenty of bends. I got lazy and haven't listed the IC or BOV on ebay yet, they're still sitting on my floor.

Yes, the "majority" of Ebay BOV's are actually constructed very well. There are a few things about them that are different that the original as far as construction goes, but they are, however, just fine. I owned a couple knock-off's and they held boost just fine, looked nice and most importantly, sounded awesome. Although, something does seem pretty fishy about the whole deal...:chicken: That's awefully cheap. I'm thinking that the intercooler or piping is cheaply made...Hmm.

well im not surprized its cheap. My friend bought a full exhasut system for 300 for his celica alltrac. he got a steal of a deal. A couple of days after, i see them sellign the full kti which he got for 700+ on ebay. They were both brand new and everything. i think that simply it is to draw customers and then bump the prices.
