I dunno, I've heard the mix reviews... I(m still not sure what to do about my LSD... Should I replace, rebuild, I dunno... It's fine, it works... It's Bobby's *outofstep* and Im sure he'll want it back one day! hahahahaha... Or he might sell it to me... Who knows... All I know is when I bought my car, it had this hummmm in the back... I always considerd it road noise... When I would drag race, my 60 foots sucked even with DRs... I almost always pulled to the right or left on launch... I never suspected my LSD until my buddy was like, dude, your only spinning one wheel on burn outs... So the next time I ran, he video taped it and sure enough, peg leggin... I swapped out my busted one for the one Bobby lent me, and the hummmm was gone and it pulled straighter, especially on take off... Unfortunately, I never drag raced it before tearing it apart... I know Im rambling, but its 3am and I should be in bed... I need some advice... You all know my power goals... Any advice?

the problem is that the JZA70 torsen is a T-1 (i.e. the first rev. of the torsen diff...), they don't like shock loading. very unfortunate because there's no comparison in the way the torsen drives (for MY uses....i.e. autox/road race).

it's near pointless to buy another USED MKIII diff.....they're all 15+ yrs old and probably are fried. your best (and most cost effective) bet is to rebuild your diff....parts are <$200 depending on condition....
