What do you think my spark issue is?

Hey guys, I just swapped my fresh 7mgte in and took it for a test drive, got to the gas station and filled her up and when i started it, it well... didn't start. It turned over but didn't start up. I could smell fuel coming out the exhaust so I think its a spark issue. What would cause that? Did my spark plugs randomly decide to crap out? Coilpack? What do you guys think. Thanks a ton!

Just like they said it can be a lot of things. However, you need air, fuel, and spark. If you don't have all three the car won't start. Check for spark and if there is the CPS might be the problem. Again there might be a lot of things but those are the main ones you want to look at first.

Check the connector going to the cps it gets baked from the exhaust manifold. Pull on the wires alittle at the connector to see if they are burn't off.

Things to check:

-Spark at plugs
-Wires
-Coilpacks
-Fuses
-CPS connector (not uncommon for the wiring to be finicky with it being so close to the exhaust mani. Make sure it's not burnt, play with the connector a bit and see if it changes anything)
-CPS timing (10* BTDC)
-Cam timing (0* on the crank pulley timing mark, lines on the cam gears line up with timing plate)
-Fuel
