how do you run leaded gas in a supra? I heard it will take the cat and o2 sensor out.

yeah it isnt cat friendly for sure. for the 02 mine is on a spacer. it allows the 02 sensor to be open to the exhaust stream and not in it so it wont clog w/ lead. i also run a $30 02 sensor too, not the $100 toyota so it isnt that big of a deal to change once a year or more often if nec.

We have 87,89, and 93 here, so of course my car see's 93.

I run 93 thats all we have in MO except STL that shithle of a city lol with its 92 or even 91 at some stations, uhhhh hmmmm 7/11 and some of the small chains. I buy 93 or I dont get it, I had to use 91 once and it seemed slower to climb rpms, so IDK.

Sure you can push 360RWHP on 91, but can you do it with 87? No one has tried, but I'm willing to believe it is very possible and not dangerous at all with a stock ECU.

Though it may be possible, it also may not be the safest. I ran my non-turbo on high octane. Just so i knew i was putting the best stuff in my car.

Aren't the Supra's made for like 101octane Jap fuel or something i've heard.

I run nothing but 98octane whether it be Shell, BP, Mobil. Here in Aus 91 is normal, premium is 95octane, ultimate is 98octane, and few of the brand name servo's have 100octane.

Interesting, Europe+Aus and rest of world except America use RON, you guys use AKI index which is 4-5points lower than ours, so your 94octane is our 98 so on.. learn something every day. Thats why i was wondering why the feul readings were so low.. thinking "that aint right"
