Im all about spreading the love..... and Im starting a new company for mk3 owners. I want to specialize in rare or non existent parts for mk3s. IE: the Brake master cylinder braces (link in sig).

I want to know what you guys would want for your cars that isnt produced for you already or is hard to find. Keep in mind i mean feasible options ;)

I know a lot of you do custom intakes but would a custom intake setup (that bolts on) be wanted? things like that....

post em up and maybe something will come out of this ;)

lets see. i think a custom intake would be near the top of the list. since there aren't really too many areas to improve upon, why not make some lighter, smoother parts? if i've got an NA, it can at least be the smoothest or most responsive car i can drive. would there be any interest in a custom throttle linkage?

how about individual throttle bodies?

id try to think of other things, but its more like a machined part you're looking for, isnt it. it's freaking hard to come up with ideas right now, ill add more in the morning.

ITB's would be good with standalone management. Here, you can still buy DCOE carbs and the like for one off applications on cars, as long as they pass emissions, which for mine (an 88) would be easy - 3.5% CO level - last emissions test netted me a 0.057% reading :p

Jenvey sell a good range of ITB's, and MBE do a nice standalone ECU (The 941), so if you could knock up an inlet manifold to mount these suckers too - that could be interesting.

Exhaust manifolds would be nice too - some nice mandrel bent 304 stainless in a 6-3-2 config for twin tails - cat bypass or no cat would be nice. Catalytic converters never arrived here on anything bar the last of the line Mk3's, which was nice :D

id like to see a full exhaust system, headers all the way to the tip. maybe install a cutout for dumping the exhaust right before the cat, if needed.

oil filter relocation kit?

it kinda gets old though, when you're asking how to get power out of the NA specifically.

well the main problem im seeing is everyone is thinking of power adders...i kinda meant in ANY sense.... interior pieces? small things that would be nice to have? i dont know....

i dont think itb's would be a cost effective project because it would cost a lot to fab up and im pretty sure most people would rather go turbo then go itb ;)

any other ideas?

Tubular header (bolt on, large diameter)

Full intake kit (cold air maybe)

I LOVE the itb suggestions, but i doubt that would be cost effective.

ITB'S would be nice....

i could prob do that but i would need both harnesses and wiring diagrams

i think ill fab up a CAI from Y pipe to filter and it will have options to have it in stock location or true CAI and have a pipe down to behind the fog or something....
