"...no oil lines connected to the engine"

What??

most superchargers have self contained oil supplies in the gear box. my m62 has supposedly 100,000 mile oil, i change it every 25k along with installing a new coupler

The disinformation in this thread is staggering...

Rotrex is THE new thing in the boosting world and are EXTREMELY efficent, almost to the level of a turbo.

They have been around for years, and just now getting on the US market bigtime. I'd run them before I'd run any other supercharger of it's type...

He needs to have available information that explains things like compressor maps, flow numbers rather than bullshit pressure readings, some kind of explanation for how he handles the bearing lubrication issue - oil in a supercharger being self contained is one thing, but turbo style compressors spin several orders of magnitude faster - and hopefully some pictures, dyno results, and real customer testimonials. A price list wouldn't hurt, either.

Until then, all he has is a shiny website with lots of claims. I could make one of those over a weekend.

Even if it does have a turbo style compressor it cant spin any faster than a chrager as its still connected to a shaft that is driven by the engine. So it would still act like a charger but he states with a much higher boost level. Also I have noticed with every turbo charged car I have owned there is never a super charger option(although I could be wrong, Just in my applications.

It is still new to us in the US and may still be to him. That may be why the info is not all there. It could still be in the "test phase". But I doubt that. He might give compressor maps upon request as its hard to make one map for all the applications. If your interested it would probably be best to ask him then talk bad about him on another site he may not know about. Jackson Racing is a very reputable company and I would bet this is a Great Item if you can use it!!!

With that big block between the drive wheel and the compressor housing, there could be some really serious gearing in there. I'm pretty sure that there has to be, actually, or there's no way he could get any real boost out of it.
