I was just wondering what you guys do when there is a rusted bolts on your supra.

Shriek bloody murder, remove all of my clothes, and prance in the opposite direction whilst singing fairy songs aloud.

OR,

PB blast, some heat (depending on where the bolt/nut is located, IE, not near fuel sources!) and some patience and you'll get it just fine.

PB Blaster

One hour is not enough, let it sit longer. The longer, the better.

I've had bolts that where siezed that I sprayed and let sit overnight. They where hand tight the next day.

Damn! That's a lot like what you do when you see another Supra owner!

PB Blaster is amazing shit. I've had New Jersey rusted bolts on my '88 Accord that I've sprayed down, come out an hour or two later, sprayed AGAIN, then let sit overnight.

Cracked them loose the next morning with hardly any effort.

Remind me to stay aware from your workplace when you're doing something to your Supra Shaeff ;)

LOL. It's like my laundry fell off the clothes line out there!

Very much so, but rust makes me prance. There's a fine line there between other Supra owners, and rusty nuts. That line: prancing.

On non painted surfaces such as exhaust and suspension bolts I use a squirt can to coat the fasteners with brake fluid. Obviously it cant be used on painted surfaces or areas that it can dripped onto paint. Is very effective in loosening the rust. THe big key to it all however is patience.

spray it down tonight and let it sit overnight

the longer, the better as I've dropped bolts into a can of the stuff and had it eat the rust off of em before...

No clothes is FTW. ;)

As for PB blast, I use it quite often. When dropping my fuel tank to do the wallypump install some time ago, I sprayed those fittings down every day, twice a day for several days. When I put my flare wrenches on there, they turned right off with absolutely NO struggle at all. SO easy. :)

Spray on, let sit, spray on, let sit, repeat.... remove. ;)
