Flexibility is key in many places... oil dipstick tubes and girlfriends come to mind. Seriously, I just bent mine too... as long as you don't mess with the length, you should be fine.

Come again? Thought so... x3 that one.

I was racking my brains about this too, not to mention getting very frustrated under the car trying to fit the dam tube in it's hole.

Guess I'll try bending it somehow - I'm also paranoid it'll kink tho... :(

yeah i'm with you on this one. I'm just gonna get a nice pipe bender and do small changes at a time and figure otu where I need it.

whoever made a brake it to the turbine housing, i'm curious to see pictures of that.

I'd like to hear how easy it was to bend the tube by hand without kinking it. Anyone try heating it up with a torch first?

I did it by hand and it was pretty easy...maybe im just really strong LOL Just kidding....i didnt have to bend it too much its pretty much in the stock location right next to the turbo but i have a precision turbo and tubular manifold that sit a lil higher and further from the engine than stock.....ill see if i cant get a pic up here soon

i used a torch to bend it then just repaint it when you are done if you dont have a torch use a propane one to get the job done, also replace the seal at the end at the same time. Use a new stock one so the rubber don't end up in the pan

well since the 7mgte in my mk2 is front sump, i used a big block chevy dipstick. bent it to fit where i wanted and had to trim about an inch or so off the top of the tube for it to read right. started wit hthe stock tube and put it 1 qt over full. then adjusted the new dipstick so the full mark was the current "full" oil level. makes checking it a snap now. lol
