k, just was wondering.
I figure the car could trap a 87-88 mph.. (na have 200 hp stock + 10-15 for intake exhaust? my bone stock turbo car trapped 91, so seems about right) and with some good driving, those times are possible..

If that's your car in your avatar, it's one of the best looking sucky NA's I've ever seen................:evil2:

JK, it really does look sweet. If you've never raced then 16.5 or better will be a good time, but you'll get a little bit faster with each run, until you reach her full potential. I'm guessing that your first RT will be .982. Don't wait to see the last light turn green. You should already be moving by then. Good luck......Jay

They defiantely suck something, like air :D. And they suck on the track. Buuut, when we're driving in town, who the heck knows whether it's N/A or turbo, other than the BOV sound, which I guess will be mostly confused with... some squeaking brakes? or smth :D

I ran a 16.498 with a 2.424 60ft. That was my best time out of 3 runs with mine when was na (stick). And to give you an idea of driver skill, I'd say I'm half-decent, not great, and bogged it a bit too on that run. It had intake, and that's it, oh and bad tires. I guess you might be able to reach high 15's if it all comes together.

*oh, and trapped 91.8mph
*moar- rt was .668, if that's important

lol, with the noob handicap it's not THAT bad, right? Was my 2nd run ever. Oh, and I forgot, it had the resonator taken out and a shitty ebay muffler, but all still 2.25". That's how it came when I bought it. So low 16s, and maybe even high 15's are possible, with some skill.

lol yea.. its not bad, it just takes practice..

fwiw on my stock turbo car I got a 2.2 60' and went a 15.1 at 91 mph.. with a 2.1 or 2.0 you could go 14s

My first time to the track ever in a stock turbo 5 speed I ran a 15.5 at 89 I beleive. The sixty foot was a 2.3 or 2.4. I only made the one pass.

I would imagine you will be in the low 16's and if you stay there all night you will get into the 15's. Good luck and have fun...that's why your there. Not to set any records.

Making the assumption that you pull off a half way decent 60', if your motor is in healthy running condition, You can most definately pull off high 15's.

Just because it's the guys' first time going to the track doesn't mean he's going to have 17-18 second ET's. The only thing that really gets to new racers is the thought of EVERYONE watching you, some filming you, with the possibility that you might mess up really bad................................That probably didn't help any. ;)

Good luck and don't be nervous.

I thought that the stock turbo'd supra would post a better trap speed, but I"ve never been on a quarter mile track. In the 1/8 I trapped a best of 87.7 mph, but I don't know how fast that would be in a quarter and it wasn't in a stock supra.

bone stock 7M-GTE is pretty damn slow too. Of course the turbo will take to basic mods so much better than the GE will.

oops, my trap speed was 83.8, not 91.8. ::hang:: I was getting my speeds mixed up with a friend's on an excel sheet I made. I thought that seemed WAY off.... don't wanna throw anyone.

So basically, friendly reminder: yes, the na's still suck.
