Keep in mind that all four options - the 7M-GTE, the 1J, the 2J, and the bastardized 1.5J, are capable of putting down far more power than your rear wheels can keep on the ground. Unless you are willing to tub the ass end of your car, anyhow, and that only helps if you want to go in a straight line.
