Changed out my autometer phantom gauge for a sport comp 2 so I could read up to 30 psi rather than 20 and installed a water temp gauge. Now I just need to relocate my afr gauge and I'll be good to go for a while

Got a new ebrake boot cover from redline the color was a bit off compared to the rest of the interior but the quality is great. I also found a good condition arm rest and my model MK3 came in. Thinking of repainting it pearl white to match my car and try to find some RPF1 wheels for it lol.

In a couple of days I hope to buy some tires! I recently bought new wheels and today, I made a little photoshop of what sort of wheel center stickers I should go with, if any!

Got my oil pump in today, went ahead and shimmed it 5mm. Ordered new orings and filters for the 440s. Need to order the ARZ oil pipe mod. Also waiting on the machine shop for my head then I can finally start the build and get it in within a weekend.

In an effort to quiet down my car I replaced my muffler with the biggest Apexi canister and the longest resonator I could fit. The result is a significantly quieter interior and very minimal drone. I wish I could have kept the twin tip look, but the car was just too loud for daily'ing.

Glad to hear you're happy with the new system. That single tip you chose still looks good.

What kind of camera do you use for your pictures? They all come out looking really good. I hate my Cannon so I never use it and only use my phone...

I need to do the one I bought a few months ago sometime as well. Good to hear that you were able to do it without good soldering skills... I've only soldered a few times before...

It's all about the technique the hardest part for me was removing the old unit. I cut the leads as short as possible then removed the solder slowly wiggling it out. Soldering the new one in was cake compared to removing.

Replaced my Profec Bspec Gen 1 with a old school HKS EVC III. Not only does this controller match the factory gauge color, but it was by far the EASIEST boost controller Ive ever had to set up.

I had a bit of a scary moment yesterday when my throttle linkage collapsed and got stuck at WOT. Luckily it happened when I was starting the car, and not while I was driving. I found there were some nylon bushings in the linkage that were broken/missing and causing lots of play and binding. It doesn't look like the linkage is serviceable and it's been discontinued by Toyota. But, I found a later model Cressida at the local Pick-n-Pull which has a similar throttle body to the GTE. I had to make a little adjustment to the cables, but got that setup to work. My throttle response is actually a lot better now too.
