The cool thing with android based tablets and phones is if you run megasquirt, you could wire in a bluetooth module to the board (my build thread talks about how to do it) and link up to it with the Shadow Dash MS app and have something like this:

It is a cheap mod really. I think I paid $7 shipped for the bluetooth module. The baud rate is set from the factory to 9600, so it would work great for MS1, but it needs to be changed in hyperterminal to 115200 baud rate for MS2/MS3. I installed it in MS1 when I built a turbo Samurai for my friend. It is so convenient to be able to tune outside the vehicle, like in a dyno office or something. I think the range is like 25-30 feet.

Well, blew my motor a week or so ago and decided to pull it today. Honestly wasn't as bad as I expected but obviously I've only began the process of getting it running again.

Took it to a bar tonight for a friend's bday and as I was leaving a 3 asian chicks were walking to their car and one of them was pointing at mine I didn't hear what she was saying because I had my windows up and I was about to play some music from my phone. Then a guy who parked in front of me gave me a thumbs up everyone loves the poopra.
