Most auto body supply stores can match the paint. What I would do (and have done) is told them the factory color code and then tell them you don't think its exactly that color and they'll go to your car and tint the paint to match.

7ms are like tanks. Tanks that were made with some weak components and bolts that wernt tight. Beef it up and tighten it up with skills and patients. Then you have a strong fast tank.

You are aware though that the stock intake resonator actually makes more power though, right?

I still have a K&N Drop-in in my garage, which I used while my car was still NA. That filter was very nice. Never used it after going turbo though.

Yeah I read a bunch of posts and treads on that intake resonator. Some said it makes more power with it, some say it doesn't. Those who removed it never complained.

To be honest, what I have noticed is a smoother power band, pulls more steady all through the rpm range as a pose to feeling some flat spots before. I have also noticed a MUCH smoother idle and my hot start/rough idle problem is completely gone. Also notice more top end pull, where as before it really started to die out above 5500.

I think the fact that it's now heat wrapped and the pipe stays WAY cooler, I think the combination of cooler air and less restrictive bends in the tract make up for what ever the stock intake chamber supposedly did. It certainly isn't slower, so my Gtech pro tells me...lol. :)

Tanabe springs. The bottom 3 rings are fully compressed under the weight of the car.

Are those the GF210's? How do you like them? I debated buying those springs with either Tokico or GR2 struts before going with coilovers.

Installed a Sony CDX-GT360MP stereo into my '91 Turbo. Sounds pretty good for a low budget receiver...

No pictures, but hopefully a decent story will suffice.

I dont normally get attention from other enthusiasts on the road and get encouraged to "race". Mostly because there are few sports cars around here. On my way home from work today in the Supra a redneck pulls up beside me in a late 90's seemingly stock Camaro. He yells out at me and asks while smiling, "Is that fast?" He chuckles in a way that makes it difficult to discern sarcasm and taunting from sincerity. I respond with a mild, "Meh, it's alright."

He passes by and ends up a few cars ahead. I dont think too much of it and keep driving. A few minutes later we end up side by side with little traffic behind us. We both slow to ~30mph and I hear him downshift and get on it. I decide 'Hey, why not' and throw it into second and gun it. Boost controller set at 11 psi with the new 50 trim and either the Camaro never really hit the gas or I just obliterated him. I slow down after pulling through 2nd and mostly through 3rd. He and his passenger pull up next to me grinning ear to ear with a big thumbs up. I was convinced it was sincere car guy camaraderie.

It's always fun to impress a domestic V8 redneck with your 22 year old turbo'd Yota.

So to the redneck with funny teeth, a wifebeater and questionable sincerity: Thanks for making my ride home a little less dull. :)
