ebrake is now fixed, new shoes and used a hardware kit from a mkiv had some broken stuff on the passenger side for the longest time had a annoying noise every time i hit a bump which was one of the shoes hitting the caliper and it works

and used the ford friction modifier in the diff since it was making noise on sharp turns and cornering while driving lol

Got some work done last night, not much more to go till I get to drive her again!!! Changed the timing belt, water pump, front main seal, cam seals, radiator, pulled out old ac and all lines, wired in 7m resistor pack, port matched exhaust, installed oil lines, exhaust manifold, turbo, polished TB, water neck and valve cover:)

^Nice!

Didn't do anything major to my car just yet, but planning to install a new exhaust system (in the mail as we speak). So decided to record the sound of the stock setup to compare afterwards:

One of the more decent sounding stock systems I've heard in a long time. If it wasn't leaking and falling apart, I'd leave it as is... Can hear a bit of the intake honk in the vid as well. :naughty:

Stripped out the boot area and cleaned it all up, cleaned up the spare wheel well and sprayed it with rust proofing/converter then painted the area black like it was before.
Thinking about keeping it stripped out

Sorry to hear that man, post a pic or two? There are many other threads of a similar nature unfortunately. Stupid "operators" that are allowed on the roads...

As for me, I drove my car about 450 miles (Laramie and back) this weekend, fixed the crappy connection from the harness to the battery (literally TWO wires holding it on), and picked up this:

I have plans... dirty, dirty plans...

Just got home with a few parts. What have we here? Is that a R154 built with the SupraStore rebuild kit? Why, yes it is! What else was in that cute Miata of yours, Lonnie?

Most of our oil cooler and filter relocation kit for my own car. 99% sure the 2JZ kit will work on the 7M, just need to check to see if it fits before it is offered.

Here's our old oil cooler on our new one. We recently changed suppliers and now have them in stock again. More cooler, same price!

The sparkling blue looks much better than the boring grey too

Replaced the dash and center console, re-routed gauges to my A-pillar, mounted my pedals for my 5 speed swap and did a little wiring work for my kenwood head unit. Pics to come.

You know, I once brought home a Miata transmission in the passenger seat of my old Mk3... small world.
