Blew my oil cooler lines cause the autozone gave me fuel line instead of an oil rated hose...hose was rated for 3.4 bar and with the 200+ degree oil going through it turned it into a limp noodle. Car got towed home. I dont think i lost all oil still need to check that. Got all appropriate AN fittings and hoses to replace.

This weekend went great, I installed the struts and new sway bars with help from my father and here is the result, I'm thinking the rear will go down a little bit more once I get the rear sway bar in as it didn't come with the drop links nor mounts but I have ordered them in.

I also stripped out the boot area to leave everything exposed I quite like it so I will keep all the plastics out for now until I sort out a rear strut brace and fix my rear light gaskets.

Konig Villains? Oh man! Theyre discontinued too, arent they? I dont know why, theyre consistently some of the best 5 spokes for our cars
Bought a set (think this was either the second or third set of wheels I bought for this car) of the Konig Villians for my 89, they ended up on the girlfriend's Mazda3. Look pretty damned good on there too. :)

Tearing ass through a praking garage with wet pavement and a bunch of big ass pillars is a recipe for disaster. I'm just saying.
Pretty sure he was just taking pictures dude. ;)

As for me, changed out my spark plugs over the weekend. Found that #2 had a bit more oil on it than I would have liked. My friend that I turn to for quick diagnostics of things like this says it is either the piston ring letting too much blow by under boost, or that cylinder is the closest to the PCV system (which that would be #3, 4, and 5), soooo... yeah. Hopefully that isn't a sign of bad things to come.

Also, lost a bolt for the coil pack cover, it fell down into the turbo side of things. After a valiant effort, I called off the search, and decided to test drive the car. Heard the bolt pinging and bouncing around, but before I could do anything about it, it was gone. Pretty sure it is out on the road somewhere if it hasn't been run over already. Feel like an asshole for leaving a bolt on the road, Lord knows I've run over enough of them myself...

Good news is though, my breaking up has gone away, and the car boosts up to about 17-18 psi before settling down at 15-16, AFR's holding steady in the mid-12's on stock injectors.

Uhh... he posted a video tearing ass through a parking garage while the pavement was wet and there were big ass pillars all around him. He then sheepishly deleted the vid not wanting to be flamed any further.

Yeah there was a video, private car park. Was raining out so needed to get a sound clip while my buddy had his schools camera but I removed it to avoid further confusion :)

On 91-93 I would only run 11.5-11.8 to be at the happy spot. On E85 I run 12.0-12.3 @ WOT. On Pump 91-93 12.5 is to lean under load.

I agree although i'm not really familiar with tuning 1j's but for on any motor running 91-93 octane i wouldn't go leaner then 11.5

Mid 12's? under wot? On what fuel?
91 from our local Exxon (believe it is E10-E15 mix this time of year). Been running it like this for a couple years now, and the plugs still look like things are well. Wouldn't run it for long periods of time at afr's like that though, I know better. :)
