Replaced the power steering pump for the 3rd time in less than 2 months. These rebuilt pumps are so unreliable. Too bad Toyota does not carry them anymore. I hope this one will last.

Had to replace my clutch master cylinder, had 1 sitting around and just to find out my extra one came out of my previous 91 and it's not the same as the one on my 90 -_____-. Going to order a new one today. Hopefully to get it in before the holiday so I can button her up soon.

Today I repainted and rebuilt my Cobra brake calipers. Aircraft remover is some crazy stuff you need to use dish washing type gloves you can't just use the nitrile gloves you normally use when working on cars it will eat through that and start stinging your skin. I regret putting the clear coat I liked the ceramic matte look the calipers had before the clear coat but still looks good. Waiting for my Stoptech rotors and EBC yellow pads to come in before mounting them hopefully without difficulty.

Thought only difference between all years of mk3 clutch masters was r154 and w58.

EPC calls out different numbers for the pre 91 and 91+. Many parts seem to be like that, actually, where 91+ get a different part number even where pre89 and 89-90 share the same.

My turbo started to get the death whine on Thanksgiving. I had to refrain from Black Friday deals so I could get my turbo rebuilt...Priorities... I just got it put back in today.

About how much have you spent on everything for the cobra brake swap, if you don't mind me asking? Also, you need 17" wheels to clear these brakes right?

I believe you do need at least 17" wheels I have 17" RPF1s luckily lol. I spent about $360ish on the calipers with brackets and stock rotors, $110 for the brake line kit and $170 for the bracket kit from Driftmotion, and about $80 each for these rotors on Rockauto, and about $90 on the EBC Yellow pads. I have spent probably about $8-900 roughly on this setup but it's good knowing that rotors are cheap and the calipers are OEM, so they are reliable and the parts are cheap to get. Still looking at about $500 cheaper than if you go for a big brake kit with like Wilwood or something because last I checked those were about $1,300 and I've heard of Wilwoods warping rotors. A friend of mine James Ward who has the world's fastest MK3 runs the Cobra brake setup and he recommended that I get them and helped me piece together the parts list for my use.

Wow, I didn't realize it would run quite that much, but like you said it's still cheaper than the Willwood kits. I'm sure you will like the performance from them definitely though.

I think you can buy just the calipers from rockauto for about $160ish each but you do need the brackets too. I was surprised it came out to this much as well but with brakes it's best not to cheap out.

I do the same every day. I had to order new hardware for the Cobra brakes to install them hopefully this weekend but I don't think I will have time to do so.

Correct, they were indeed different. I did installed my new aisin master and she's good to go. Here's the list of differences between the years, however, the thread that I read of where the differences in the clutch master cylinder is not this one but i think this covers most of the differences.

For those that are curious.
