Thanks!
Yep, sorta custom, I got this body kit for free years ago but thought it was too ugly to use. Then when I was getting ready to repaint I decided the lower part of my front bumper was beat so I cut it up and fiberglassed them together. Also cut up/fiberglassed the side-skirts a little because it hated the way they looked at the top near the door...

Ha! I spent years looking for the Tanabe exhaust at a price that wouldn't kill me, finally got this one from a member here about 2 years ago... I love it, it's my favorite mod on my car - the other exhausts I've tried (generic and Raptor Racing) were so loud and annoying, the Tanabe is awesome.

Not to rub it in your face but... Yeah, you do want one. I've got one and I love it. I got it from SupraSport several years ago, after I swapped in the 7M-GTE into my '89. I uploaded a short youtube video from my phone camera, I guess about 5 years ago I put that up.

Yea I know but changing the oil pan gasket is a pain in the ass you have to apparently lift the motor or drop the front sub frame. Pretty retarded design.
this is true. I've "fixed" mine before, just to find out I was leaking from somewhere else. I've learned a few tricks since then to avoid such tomfoolery

That is what I will probably end up buying if I can't find someone selling a Hyper medallion.

and what's the difference between the "hyper medallion" and the regular "medallion" ??

if there's enough interest, i can have an aluminum exhaust made up for my mk3. there's a local shop that makes a hell of an exhaust. it's not cheap, but if there's enough interest, i'm sure something can be worked out.

here's a few pics of their stuff....

as you can see, their work is incredible. they just don't do anything for supras, but i'm hoping to change that.

The Hyper medallion has a bigger tip, that's the only difference from what I have read and been told. I just prefer the look of a bigger tip on our cars I think it looks better and more fitting.

They do seem to do nice work would be cool if a shop would work something up with a forum like this.

i'm going to sit down with the owner and see what we can come up with. i know he doesn't want to do any tuning on our cars, but he could easily build some sick exhausts and other stuff. i actually got my catch can from them.

ah, ok. I have a tendency to paint my exhaust flat black, so it doesn't really draw much attention... in other words one would be just as good as the other...
