what dash covering is that

i saw this pic here and saved it to the supra picture collection and then noticed the dash was covered with what looks like header wrap(i know its prolly not) but im very interested because it looks really good.
do you guys know what it is ?

looks like bedliner or blowmolded plastic (as in a lightweight replacement for the factory dash). could also be a leather of some sort

ok, much different close up. that is tweed fabric. pretty common about 5 years ago in the hotrodding scene. any upholstery shop should be able to get it

5 Years, it's been about 9 since I wrapped the dash. That pattern and color was discontinued when I purchased it, but you can still get similar tweed.

You could have just asked me, it's not a secret. :biglaugh:

Best part about getting the dash as dark and anti-reflective as possible is NO GLARE. Most world class sports cars (as well as rally, ect) run suede dashes to kill the glare.
