So lets just say you decided to keep your mkIII as your weekend warrior.

For me I wouldn't mind the R35... or an Rx7 as stock to the bone for my daily.

I find that the smaller cars/hatch backs are a hell lot easier to drive in as well.

My summertime DD is a '95 M3, double adjustable TCKline coilovers, every single bushing replaced, 3.38 differential, fully reinforced rear subframe, reinforced front subframe and rear trailing arm pockets, mild bolt-ons (injectors, 3.5" intake, exhaust which sounds like sexytime), oil pan baffle, lightweight wheels, 255/40 tires, short shift kit, FX35 Bi-xenon retrofit into euro headlights, Eibach sway bars, pushing around 275bhp. Will eventually custom turbo it with a gt35r.

The ride isn't plush. It's firm, but not harsh at all. Lots of fun, but the e36 isn't a very well built chassis. I've got it sorted out now, after three years of not working on the Supra. :(

Wintertime DD is a '94 Toyota 4x4 pickup, 22re, 5 speed, 31x10.5's, Marlin Crawler rear bumper, Supra seats, rewired headlights, Detroit Tru-Trac posi rear, and a Roll-n-Lock tonneau cover that I recently picked up for a steal.

Since these are mostly Other Cars, that's where I moved this thread to.

For me? I don't really care. I just want a pony.

Mercedes SL63 AMG would work nicely for me...

Showoff...

Realistic alternate DD: Legacy wagon, Volvo V70, Miata, GS/LS/IS

"If I had a good bit more money": NSX (summer), MKIV, C6

I'm easy, I suppose. Long as it can get me to work and not get high centered on the snow, I'm good to go.

Oh, and DT, horses are such a pain in the ass. My parents have had a few, and aside from therapeutic reasons, I can't see why you'd ever want one. I hear they taste good though...

Hey! Nobody said anything about realistic... I sure as hell don't have $150K to blow on one right now. :p

If we're talking something cheaper, a 98-00 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 Kompressor would work. ;)

To be honest, i been thinking about getting a new daily for my job in January/February, something economical and cheap to run, but also with a little bit of retro funness in there.

My choice?

Mk1 Ford Fiesta (1976-1982) Supersport

1300cc Kent X-Flow Engine (OHV), Weber 34DMTL Carb, Slightly Warm Cam - 75hp.

And it'll do 40mpg flat out :D

Oh, shut your pie hole, you want horses, too.
I'd think he's got a few hundred under the hood of that Mk4... :p

And Mike, you'd fit in an SLK? Always seemed like kinda smallish cars to me. Then again, if you fit in the MR-S... I don't think any car would be too small. :)

I approve sir. Economy car done properly, unlike the modern Fiesta... everything you need to get around in, and its fun without being pricey. :)
