I got my new oil bolts and squirters yesterday and I just start to install them

The second one threads in 2 threads then gets tight and breaks loose then won't thread in at all...

FML

I've never tapped before and I wasn't planning on taking out my crank...
What's the best way to go about this?

The plan was to have this done by monday since it's me dd

Edit,
I have a tap from kragen by powerbuilt or something shitty but anyways the handle they supply isnt long enough to reach into the threads and turn w/o hitting the crank.

Info on what type of tap I need (plug, taper, or bottoming) and if you know of one that has a long handle would be much appreciated. Any tapping tips would be great.

I really don't want to take out my crank for something so stupid....

Jeesus Christ.... Running on 2 hrs of sleep and working on a block is clearly not a good idea.... I can't believe I didn't try that..........

Edit,
Well turns out I don't have one small enough that will fit.

I have a crescent fold out tool kit and the smallest 12pt is a 9mm and the mating side of the tap is a 4 corner that is smaller than a 9mm and below 9mm on my kit goes down to like 6 sides which none fit.

Ummmm ideas?
