the color coded toyota bearings are the best for oil pressure and long life but its also a LOT of measuring to use them and they are more pricey

lots of ppl just use the clevite 77 they are the cheapest but it seems u either get a good set or a bad set so make sure u at least measure the bearings and rods one more time when using them.

There are some others choices out the like to toda bearings but i dont know anything about them i wish ACL made 7m bearings

I thought NDC where clevite in ndc boxes and i cant find ACL bearings if u know where i can get them plz let me know i really want to use them

as for fristmk3 read this it may help you

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=69

read that page and the next several pages about 10 times u will have a better grasp but what your measuring is the space between the bearing and the crank this is your oil clearance it has to be within 2 specific numbers for the oil to flow correctly and for the rods main and crank to rotate on themeselves (really short explination) I can better explain via PM if u want

get naked & boost a supra
do you know how much was machined in the cylinders? used to determine what size pistons and rings you need
do you know how much was machined off the crank? or are the rods still round?
also helpful in sizing issues.

stock rod and main bearings are very specific if no metal was removed they are numbered on the rods, the crank and the block. you have to do some addition though. just to clear that up, rod and main bearings are different sizes stock.

when i had my motor machined, my cylinders still had the cross hatch marks in them so no boring was done, only honing. my crank was good and my rods were too. so i used stock rod and main bearings and stock rings on the stock pistons. but i did use a greddy 3mm metal hg.

also i got the 83mm bore hg which is stock, not the very often sold 86mm bore. HKS only makes the 86mm bore i think.
go with toyota gasket kit from watson for about 300.00, and through that felpro stuff away, just my opinion though

I think felpro makes the toyota gasket kit for toyota i cant prove it but both kits are the same and have the same printed numbers on them i know nachi makes their roller bearings
