What are my chances of finding a RHD MK3 on the east coast?

I am left handed. The idea of shifting with my left hand is appealing. However I agree that having a RHD car is dangerous in America. And you couldn't even go to the drive-thru. I still wouldnt mind having a RHD track-only car.

I come from a land down under
The only real + I can see even for a track car is it helps weight the right rear tire.

Living in Australia left hand shifting is the norm I have trouble driving and shifting with my right so I guess it's a muscle memory thing.

You could mount a big plastic cock on the roof and that would be "different" and "unique" ;)

Yeah, well apparently they do...

I've semi-decided on my plans anyhow, so this thread is useless (as if it weren't already)

Here we go, the supra forums bandwagon has spoken. :3d_frown: Your daily driver is RHD and in the USA? You have any first hand experience on the subject? I live in south florida and drive in the most rediculious traffic ever, EVERY DAY, not a single problem with my car being right hand drive. I drive the Florida Turnpike (tollway) almost daily, drive thru's (fowards or backwards), muvico parking garage, no difference. Please explain to me how my daily driver is not practical for anything but shows.

It's the safety of others I am worried about. Everybody thinks they are a great driver, yet your view WILL be blocked in many situations. Just because you have not caused an accident yet does not mean it is safe.
