It can't be a knock sensor wire. KNock sensor wires have one wire coming out of the plug and they plugs are grey .
That looks like a water temperature sensor wire which fits to the sensor on the radiator for the hydro fan.

Thanks guys, temp sensor makes sense, i am going to be connecting everything up tomorrow to get her running. Oh, does anyone know if the stock radiator from a 7m works with the hydrofan setup? I read a few times that it takes a different one. Thanks
Yes and no. The 7M radiator will fit fine, but it's missing the bung in the bottom for the hydro fan temperature sensor (the thing that the brown plug actually plugs into).

You have three options:
1. Get an aftermarket radiator (like a koyo), and a temperature sensor, and plut it all in

2. Fabricate a place to put the temperature sensor, like placing a metal section in the lower pipe

3. Jumper the plug, and have your hydro fan on high speed all the time.
