what a long weekend!!

so i spent all weekend droping my rebuild motor in at times i was hungry at times tired and even frusturated and only to be left with more work :cry: im leaking coolant from the hard line behind the water pump and the car turnes over but wont start im gona try and check for codes and spark cause i got fuel but i wont start hope i can get it running so i can take it to a shop for the leak i just dont want to deal with it i think i may have forgoten the gasket that goes there :nono: oh well...also what does the lil wire that goes from the head to the coils do cause i lost that lil screw do i really need it??

the wire is a ground for the coil packs

IIRC there are many different opinions on exactly how functional it is. Some people don't have a problem running without it some do. Just find a screw that will fit and hook it up. You have nothing to lose, only gain.

so i found my problem it was the cps that i didnt put in the right way so i set it a 0 tdc and it strated on the second turn of the key as for my leak that went away too its no longer leaking now i just need to pull for codes and set the time...

Congrats on figuring it out! I have fought with getting the CPS in on the right tooth everytime it's come out. Luckily, I don't have one anymore. ;)
