Went to the track last night for the first time..I have a trophy now...

Last night was midnight mayhem at cordova dragway park and for the first time in three years I have had my supra ready for the event. This was also the first time I"ve ever actually had my supra at the track. After a so-so first few runs I hit 13's as I got my launch down a bit better and I ended up running my last few runs at 13.6 My trap time was 102 so I ended up in the top four of the night in the import division so we had a face off, in which I dominated and took home a nice shiny trophy! Here is one of my two best time slips...

my mods consist of a centerforce clutch, kn intake, metal ic pipes w/ hks bov, crap manual boost controller, f-con, bic ddp, greddy sp. I was running pump gas at 10 psi becuase the manual boost controller is a huge piece of shit. never-the-less, it was a fun time.

Awesome.... I'd just to mention hes doing all in a chassy that I owned at one point and touched, which is the only reason he did so well

Congrats! The MPH seems a tad low, but that's just what I've seen. Regardless, there's even room to get lower if you can knock down that 60'. Nice!

dang what the heck did I do wrong? I ran a 14.3ET @99.6 with a 60' of 2.18 and Im running 12psi...Nice run tho!

Going by the name, "midnight mayham" it was obviously ran in the middle of the night. Colder temps mean faster cars. Maybe not .5 of a second, but something. :biglaugh:

I had stock tires, 225. I got ok traction i suppose, launching at 4000 gave me miminal spin and the best response over all. I'm guessing I had low trap times becuase I'm running a tad rich perhaps. I am using the f-con without really tuning it. I would have isntalled my wideband and super afc yesterday but I just didn't around to it.
It was nice that it was at night, as it got colder, it car got a tad faster...well that, and I drove better

Yeah I know! Such simple installs really, yet I sit on them.... When I Get my lexus afm and 550s in a week or two they are definetly going on, then it should much more fun to tune.

Congrats man, thats AWESOME! I love seeing these threads, my brother doesnt believe that I can pull a 13 in mine...but I have intake, full 3" exhaust, T4 turbo, external wastegate, PRofec B, no EGR, minor "weight savings", and some pretty new Kuhmo Supras, so even on 8 psi I'm really hoping to see times like that!!
