I come from a land down under
Custom Koni coilovers
Full Poly bushes in everything
Whiteline Sway bars
Falken 452 265/35/18 front 285/35/18 rears
Detroit TrueTrac Diff
SS stainless Track bars
New Balljoints/spherical bushes
IJ Spec alignment

It was a very well sorted chassis at the end as I'd owned the car for 13 years so had the chance to try a LOT of different parts.

lol were can i find one these magical Gmeter?

If you have an iPhone or a Blackberry you can use dynolicious/logbox to log g-forces. Granted, it's not going to be as accurate as a professional meter...though it should give you a good ballpark figure and at a minimum be reasonably consistent between your own tests...

Shit Ian if he hurts himself trying this won't end well. lol Although hitting a tree will certainly record some good G-forces.
Yes you did warn him to be safe, but to prove a point people will do silly things...

Drive in a circle in a parking lot ;)

^^ This!

I would never feel safe pushing my car to the limit on the street. Too many variables including traffic, road surface conditions, etc. Even better: if you have access to a local track, log some times with/without the bar installed and see if there is a noticeable difference.

GTech pro would suffice, I had 2 G Meters hooked up to the MoTeC, one in the Dash and the other at the midpoint of the car.

Would be able to use it to baseline your car before further mods as the assdyno/G meter lies... ;)

Since I have no actual data either, I can't argue too much, but there were a few well respected members 6-8 years ago that were extremely happy with the Do-Luck bar once installed in regards to "twisting". I'm hoping to pick one up for myself (without the chipped tooth mod)

Did you read the thread, Ian's rear toe arm broke from metal fatigue. Not a lot you can do when that happens except pray your in the middle of field. It's just great he's still here to help out , you might want to listen...

Datsun crash was someone elses fault, Supra crash was one of those things that can happen to anyone... :(
(nothing anyone could have done no matter how good a driver, I was a passenger once it broke the arm)

"IF" it had happened the day before when we were up in the hills running the twisties Al and I would have been killed outright, just posted the links to reinforce the "BE SAFE" message..

As for the Magic bolton bars, if someone with some engineering experience can explain to me how that floor bar does ANYTHING Beneficial I'll be happy to listen....
(or even what force it's meant to counteract where it's bolted into the car)
