Cuel is right, rebuild what you have if you can at least you know what you got. Like the others said, you should tear down and go thru a JDM motor anyway.

well i agree with most about the jdm motors, but if you're block/head has a lot of miles put on it, 600ish bucks isn't bad for a whole motor....i mean try buying a block, crank, head, from the dealer.......i think for what it cost me to buy a new crank shaft from dealer i could have bought 2 jdm motors....LOL....you could rebuild you're motor and if you ever need a part then well you might be able to use a part off a jdm...
