Just traded my 86.5 N/A for an 88 MR2 SC.... I feel good about it...

Now I have the complete late 80's toy sports car lineup

1988 Toyota Supra Turbo/Targa/5 Speed
1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged/ 5 speed T tops
1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S Hardtop 5 Speed
1988 Toyota Celica Alltrac/ 5 speed/ Sunroof...

I'm gathering a nice little collection here. I guess next I should start working on the 1990+ models...

get this, the main reason the guy wanted to trade was so he would have more power..... Yes, True.... 140hp vs 200, but the mr2 weighs half as much as the supra

Ya, My buddy could stay 5 ft off my stock supra bumper all the way to about 80mph. Only then could I loose him. (test track bla bla bla)

If anyone has ever been to Waterville in Central Washington you would understand, It has a straight 20 mile road with no houses, no traffic, no ditches and no trees with 10 miles of clear visability in all direction. It was my test track when I lived there. :)

Sorry for the hi-jack Gixx.

My left nut is still up for trade.

I really want an alltrac
I want the 90-93 series alltrac. It's got the same engine as the MR2
(yay now I stayed on topic)

I'll get pics of all of them together. Alltrac needs a clutch....again. Corolla doesn't have an engine in it right now.(doing Twin Charged HKS replica ;) ) Supra is in need of a wiring harness, downpipe, and tune. The Mr2 is the only running car other than the supra, but it doesn't run well.

I still need a few more cars to have my dream garage, but I can't afford all. An 86.5 N/A sure wasn't part of my dream garage though.

BUT, get this. Guy calls me tonight. Man, this thing blew a head gasket. It had 160k miles on it, and no head gasket, but it had been retorqued. The guy told me he advanced the timing for extra power, because his buddy told him it worked great.... I'm guessing it detonated it to death.... He is pissed. So, should I make him pay for parts and do the HG for him, or what?
