I got home from work on my break, when I left to go back to work I dropped my windows down, drove to work (5 mins) and when I got there the pass window wouldnt go back up, I didnt hear ANYTHING when I pushed the switched.. turned the car on and off a few times, still....

30 mins later I went back to get my ipod I was charging in my car and checked it one more time.. it worked!!

so Im wondering, what possibly could of happend? I was thinking a motor or regulator wasnt liking the tempature of the car from the sun baking it all day.... iono though.

A fault due to heat is a possibility, but I think dirty switch contacts are more common.

Was the passenger window lock engaged?

The only likely possibilities are a bad master switch, bad window lock switch, or the motor overheated. The motor shouldn't be overheating just from warm weather though... if it is it's probably on it's way out.

My car did the same thing. The problem is usually with the contacts in the pass. door switch. Clean that thing out and it should work normally from both switches.
