i dont know when this started, cuz my sister borrowed the car and went somewhere an hour away, so when she came back i heard this. she said something was sounding different.
at first i thought it was something rubbing in the fender wells. but then i realized it might be something more serious. it could still be something rubbing. i hear it whenever im on the gas doesnt matter how much gas. it gets higher pitched if i go faster. once im off the gas, its fine. im gonna check it out tommorrow, but anyone got an idea?

squeeky speedo cable?

mine sounds like it is rubbing something, the fast I go the louder it gets,
when I rev. it doesnt happen, only when moving,
I need to lube the speedo cable

so me and my buddy came to the conclusion that it is the rear end. there some oil on the bottom of it, i dunno if its rear oil or oil that traveled all the way from the engine area. how can i get to the fill hole?

what kind of gear oil would i use..im pretty sure i got limited slip
i might as well add some fluid and see if it'll help, however much the damage is.

do some searching on oil type...as for the limited slip you will need to get an LSD additive, just add that to the oil type you choose. you can pick that up at most Autopart stores

If you're thinking about changing the LSD oil, make very sure you take the fill plug out 1st. BTW, the Ford 75W-90 LSD oil and Ford friction modifier works well...only use about 1/2 oz of the friction modifier to start with. If you get clatter, add a bit more till it stops.
