So I just rebuilt my 7mgte and got it running good set the timing to factory settings, but when I drove it it would accelerate smooth to about 4000rpm then will hesitate and not accelerate much past that. I was thinking it was a boost leak but I checked all the connections and they seem good. Then I was thinking maybe a fuel pressure issue, I don't have a pressure gauge on it so I can't tell. Its the stock fuel pump and injectors with a new filter. Although I did take out the fuel inlet thing. Any idea's what it could be??

The only mods are a HKS 2.0mm MHG, upgraded front mount, 3in turbo back exhaust, Greddy bov (recirculated).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Only code is code 11. Which is intermittent power failure to the ecu. When I got that I reground the ecu wires but its still coming up.

Yeah I removed the pulsation dampner I just couldn't remember the name of it. And the code 11 isn't in the TSRM but its in the Haynes repair manuel.

did you replace this? is it leaking? lots of guys replace this when adding an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and larger fuel pump. this could cause fuel interuption to your injectors if the rest of your fuel system is stock.

I don't have a pressure gauge on it so I can't tell. Its the stock fuel pump and injectors

ok i just read your first post again.

Removing it is not going to cause that.

You need to fix 11. It will cover up any other stored codes and needs to be fixed right away. Are the ground wires on the intake manifold clean and tight?

how are your battery connections?, mainly the smallish wire that runs to the underhood fuse panel. is the altanator working? and check the grounds on the intake aswell, aswell.

11 is ecu. Not battery.

And NO your ecu is not at fault unless you crossed wires. 7m ecu's do not go bad.

I took out the pulsation dampner because it was spraying fuel everywhere when i started the car. I replaced it with a straight AN fuel line directly to the rail (see picture). The rest of the fuel system is stock, pump, fpr, injectors, management, etc.

The battery connections are all good. Although the alternator isn't the best... either that or the battery isn't holding charge very well. And for the grounds on the intake i moved them to the frame and there tight. I assumed moving them from the intake to the frame wouldn't hurt anything.

I'll put them back on the intake. And I just checked the main relay and its good I just cleaned the connectors and put it back on. But while I was looking in the fuse box the alternator 100amp fuse is blown. So I'll replace that also and update you guys. Does anyone know how to remove the alternator fuse? I appreciate the help so far!
