Weird oil filter location.

if i ever did an Oil filter relocation id probably make an enclosed box to put the filter and lines in to keep dirt out. Nothing i hate more then a greasy under carriage or grabby ahold of an oil filter covered in grease/water.

theres always K&n filters hehe, but really if you think thats bad... i just got done tightening the upper bellhousing bolts and turbo->cat downpipe.. makes the oil filter look so welcoming...

oil filter re-locate is supposed to help w/ cooling too ;)

U think these are a bitch? The 2Js are hell in the GS300s and the IS300s. And the Lexus SUVs are the sons of Satan with the oil filters. Specifically the LX470. Its all the way at the bottom front with burning hot pulleys and rad. hoses. It sucks. The RX series has them about 4 inches under the exhaust manifold searing the flesh as you unscrew them. Then when you get them off the get wedged in between the mani and the horns.

That, and the ridiculously easy oil filter location and I'll have oil changes done in 6mins.
