HOLY SHIT!!!!! I do the same lamp touching thing. I do it with this old, shitty free-standing reading lamp though. I do it when I'm watchin tv. But my cycles are at least 2-3 mins long. It drives the people around me nuts, but I dont even notice.

I've found a brother in my odd habit!!!

If I'm not doing anything, I constantly play with the plate of my la bret piercing's bar inside my lip, and move my right lip ring around. Makes clicking noises and bugs the hell out of people....most of the time I don't even know I'm doing it.

I have a weird heart problem where I will always have a very high pulse rate, even when im just sitting here, I can often feel my heart beating and I will curl my toes and bite my lip with every pulse, its pretty weird, it looks like Im just tapping my foot to music :runaway:
