:1zhelp:so im trying to put my car on a diet lol. just wondering if anyone has some good ideas to lose some weight off the car? thanks

First thing I did was throw away the super heavy front seats. That'll save tons of weight. I then tore out the interior and replaced all the stock heat/ sound insulation with DynaMat (actually it's the cheaper knockoff "FatMat", but basically the same thing) I estimate that the Fatmat saved me about 50 pounds. I replaced my wheels with a set of MKIV wheels I got for next to nothing, which weigh alot less than the stock sawblades. That's about as far as I got with it. I would like to get it as close to 3000lbs as possible but when you're starting with roughly 3600 on the scales it's kind of a stretch.

you might as well just gut and strip it. or you just just bolt on a bigger turbo and call it a day.
