We are getting a new family member this weekend

And how we are looking forward to it!

We used to have 2 dogs, one youngster and one oldtimer. Sadly Mr. Biggie aka Rolex, our oldtimer, passed away at the very beginning of this year. We miss him an awful lot. He was the most awesome big puppy with a horrible past but he held no grudges and it was great to see him go from a yappy, unfriendly junkyard dog to a big old cuddly couch potato.

But since we live on acreage and Jesse, our Jack Russell is kinda sad and bored since Mr. Big's passing we made the decision to find a new playmate/ guard dog.

And one of those beauties will be coming home with us on Saturday (probably the darker one)

Oooooh, we can't wait.

I've never had one, but having worked in the pet care industry (vet/groomer) for six years or so at this point, I've come across a few, and I love them. Not the breed for me, but great dogs.

Jake arrived last night...

He's gotta be the most awesome pup in the world. No crying, no whining, no accidents even tho we slept in. He plays, eats, drinks, tries to play with Jesse tho she is not too fond of him yet but oh well. She had to go through the same thing when she was little.

She's a mad little puppy.
