yesterday i took off the cam gear cover so you can see more of the car but now when i take my car over 4000 rpms the water temp goes up rather high and when u let off the car cools back down to normal i was wondering if the water was heating from the cam gears like that the cover also acted more lik a heat shield i've seen cars without the cam gear cover on their car so tell if anything happens when u took it off

Yea, taking the cover off has nothing to do with the water temp. Unless like Kyle said, you might have a loose wire.
taking the timing cover off is also a good way to have a nice nasty failure if a rock gets kicked up in there...
don't make me explain why this is a VERY BAD IDEA....
you'll have to replace your lower timing gear, belt, and possibly a whole lot more. You could buy the clear cover for the price of the damage and labor...

To take off that cover you have to loosen or even take off the front of the water neck. My guess is that your car is low on coolant.
What everyone else says. Check the wires and plug it in all the way and check for any missing wires or wires that are cracked.
