ok so water = meth injection.

No water is not methanol. They are two different things. But I can see why some might be confused. I guess some guys actually use just water and some people use a mix of water and meth and some just use pure methanol. All depends on the type of pump u use and your goals with the car. (Please anyone feel free to correct me on the above info)
I think the walmart winter windshield wiper fluid is a mixture of water and methanol.

^^^ Yep pre mixed about perfect

Methenol =s race gas for less money higher octane ='s less ping
So unless your boosting higher then premium gas often and racing every weakend above 17-18 PSI dont worry about getting this kit. Methenol is verry corrosive so you must enter your injection as close as you can to the combustion chamber to avoid damage.

Water reacts with the combustion process to lower EGTs Also makes the air denser to deliver more air.

the combination of the two is a perfect mix and cheap for 88 cents is easy to hide who would ever suspect you got Nos power in your windshield wipper reservoir

Water injection is safer then NOS also.
the problem with it though is you have to adjust your ratios and timing with managment in order to really use it!

Simple answer, use it if you spend more the $300 a year on race gas & boost more then 17-18 psi often & have fuel/timing managment.

I have the maft pro..
And can u explain more on the "corrosive" part?
And I planned on having the meth injector placed before the throttlebody but after the maftpro air temp sensor.. Is that a good location?

You want the injection as close to the head inlet as possible some people even add a set of injectors next to the oem for the ideal setup. It is verry expensive to do this way.

Methenol/alchohol eats rubber & aluminum and requires special pumps to keep them from failing early.

As far as the air temp sensor if it samples from the plenum after the spray point then it should be ok and register the cooler air.

If your setup doesnt allow for this because your using injectors at the inlet of the head and your air temp sensor is prior to seeing the lower temps you can tune your scale on your air temp sesnor or trim it to 10% cooler air then its reporting if your managment allows you to adjust it Have it only trim it though when your activating your injection. play with it find what works (dyno time).

anymore info on this water-meth installation? Here is what I have come up with.

I installed a NA injector into my cold air intake 6 inches before the TB. I used gasket sealer to hold the injector in place. I used an old injector clip from a previous harness. I ran 1 wire to 12v source and installed a relay with a switch. the relay with give the injector a pulse. i used the windshield wiper tank for my water and the windshield wiper hose that runs out of the pump to the top of my injector. once my switch is on, all i have to do is hit the windsheild wiper button and BOOM! I have water- meth injection. the fuel injector has to be under pressure so its best to use the wiper pump.

Bugwugger you setup is sh!t.
1) If you tune your engine (timing and fuel) for water/meth - you will ruin engine when it fails (I don't say "If", I say "when").
2) If you just dump water/meth in your engine without tune - it produce less power.

PS: your setup _must_ fail, fuel injector can't spray water/meth very long...

additionally... you'll cause detonation if you use a single, standard injector.. if you're doing it at all (using a home-made setup) use a cold start injector (more like a solenoid as it does not pulse). Your windshield washer pump will not produce enough flow to make a fine mist when the injector fires. Modern setups function at about 150+ PSI.

Modern kits use check valves, nozzles, and solenoids (when installed post throttle) for a reason.. simplicity and efficiency.
