wastegate sizing questions

i'm trying to buy the remaining parts for my build and am now completely confused. i'm going to be running a gt35r, and ideally want to be pushing 5-600hp, and i was told that i would need a 50mm wastegate. then i read on turbosmarts faq page that you size it based on turbo size and boost. would you consider a gt35r a big turbo? what would be considered high boost; more than 20lbs? 25lbs? also, are all gt35r's t3-flanged?

I would run as big of a wastegate as possible. Always better to not be on the edge.

ya, get a good quality wastegate.
A lot of people dish out the cash for the tial 44mm wastegate, suppose to be a great wastegate.
