wastegate muffler?

I want my dump pipe to be open but not super loud. Couldn't I just run a motorcycle type muffler on it? With the right muffler I think it would sound pretty cool. But maybe I am just reeetarded. What do you think? It's a 50mm wg so I bet it is going to be rediculously loud otherwise.

no reason why not after all it is an exhaust put a small muffler on it

im known for running around with a open down pipe here. i like it a lil on the loud side.

Smog laws suck. Just don't hit full boost and you shouldn't have any problems though. :icon_bigg
