I bought a Transmission oil cooler and I was wanting to do an installation but im a little confused. Theres a little oil cooler beside the intercooler(drivers side), I was wondering what it was for? Engine oil cooler? And theres also an integrated cooler on the bottom of the radiator also, is this one for the transmission oil?

I was also thinking of placing the transmission oil cooler infront of the intercooler with 2/4 of an inch spacing in between. Hows that sound?

Heres a link to the Oil cooler I bought.

get naked & boost a supra
auto trannies use a cooler inside of the radiator. and the stock oil cooler is next to the ic. so you are correct.
when you buy a aluminum rad. they don't come with tranny coolers in them so you would have to do an aftermarket one anyway. i did the same thing. but i also bought a bigger oil cooler and put the tranny cooler between my rad. and a/c fans i just made spacer for the bolts and it fit nicely. the bigger oil cooler, i kept in the stock location.

now all that shit has changed. went 5-speed and bigger oil cooler that takes up half of my spearco's surface

Link is fixed.

Ok so the stock transmission oil cooler is the one on the bottom of the radiator.

Now for the transmission oil cooler Location. Its either in the front of the stock intercooler or behind the fog lights. Where should i put it? It feels like there isnt much air flow though the fog lights.
