ok, question,

can I hook up the (3) gas lines that mate up to the bracket after the tank is up an bolted down ? is there enough room to do it if the car is jacket up enough ?
or is it easier if the tank is down ?

I think its a deffinately 2 man job .

yea, dropping it is easy, putting it back up is another.....

yeah those straps are a little tricky. the key is to not tighten either of them down, just get the bolts threaded in both of them first, otherwise itll be hard to line it up right with one strap tightend down all the way.

You can, but its not easy. I tried and never could reach them, but abuddy of mine did it without a problem.
As for the straps. I tried jacking it up in place and starting the bolts but I don't think it worked. I started one side of each strap first. Then I'm pretty sure I just set the tank on my chest and raised it up making sure the filler neck went in right. Then I just held my breath for a long time until I got one started. Not the easiest job. Also I spilled some gas in my eye from the return line :<. Wear safety goggles.

i used my knees to push up the tank so the filler neck went into its place and did one strap, used a jack to support the other side and sort of shuffled over and loosly did up the other side. helps when the tank is empty or close to empty.

right now its 7:45 am , last night i got frustrated with it an left it where it is, witch was , up an off the ground, but sitting on my little tool box but high enough that the filler neck is in place an the cap screwed on,
I'll give it a go with those straps again alittle later, ,,, I know I'll ge M/F'ing it some more though
