you know what? I dunno yet! LOL

I am currently in the process of having a wideband sensor, AEM guage, Haltech ECU Standalone... and some major repair work done....

The mechanics at Majestic Motorsports are gonna dyno tune the car when all repairs are done...

Un-tuned... the car was running some 300~330 hp... I am more than certain that it is more than capable of 500 + with the right modifications. There's a ton of untapped potential in this car.

Yes there is a lot of potential have you ever driven a 500rwhp car without out traction control? You need to get a wideband or you be blowing the potential up after a few hard runs if you don’t wreck it.

Asking people for the settings can be a good starting point but don’t try to run you car based off of another car. We might have the same exact mods, but my car might need different settings than yours. Let’s say my fuel pressure might need to be at 30psi at idle when the car is at operating temps while your car might need to be higher or lower.

If you dont know what gauges to get start with a wideband, boost, and egt. After that if you want more gauges to be seen in you car when the cops pull you over :) get oil pressure, water temp, and dumb ass gauge to tell you when to slow down bc you are scaring the other drivers on the road

Yeah, just want the critical gauges. Have an autometer egr, boost, oil pressure, and of course being installed is the AEM wide band...

I really don't want a million and one gauges, I would seriously shoot myself if that were to happen... it would get too tacky then.

Luckily, the standalone should eliminate many of the gauges... YAY! But it worries me, riding around with a laptop on all the time...

the laptop is only there for tuning but data logging can do wonders… because in all honesty you dont look at the gauges enough when you are flooring it, your eyes are kinda fixed on the road and when you think you are about to approach your shift range you peak at the at the tach, so gauges are can be viewed as useless unless your gauges have warning and a peak hold feature….

Keeping in mind that the Denso pumps have an internal 60psi relief valve so anything over 40psi base+20psi boost will start them bypassing volume.

So since my fuel pressure at idle is about 40-45 and i run high boost at 19, that will put me over 60psi of fuel pressure so what would happen? fuel just would stop flowing for the higher psi?

Volume levels out as the relief opens, this is why the 040 Bosch pumps have their "rep" they don't actually flow any more than a Mk4 Denso.... until you get to 60psi then they win hands down, my Tsunami's I used to run will pump 250+Psi if you deadhead the pump but volume drops off the higher you go in pressure.

What are some other pump options? i might just get a TT pump to last a while. Still not sure what happens when the relief valve opens you you enlighten me? my impression is that the fuel pump just wont build any more pressure greater than 60psi, since my idle is 45ish psi then what would happen if i wanna turn the boost up to 19psi?

Correct pressure/volume will level off.

Just fitted 2xMk4 TT pumps in mine to replace the Aeromotive Tsunami's.
