adapt in a T-56 or keep looking for R154 400hp is pretty high and im sure a lot of torque with a 7M dont bother with the w58 even though it shifts smoother and is smaller lighter easier to remove.

if you kept the stock 230hp then w-58 would be ok for a good amount of time.

I did a burnout through out 3rd gear in my W58 in my Turbo Cressida, and litterally grinded 3rd when traction was gaining. Then again, my W58 was bolted in back of my stock 7M-GE in my Cressida for 2yrs or so, and it was never taken care of. I bought another W58 to go in my Cressida because I will never buy a R154. I have to deal with a R154 everyday in my V6 4Runner. Nasty gear box if you ask me..

its kinda of a r154 its like a r153 or something just set up for 4wd but people put supra engines in there trucks by cutting the bell housing in half welding the 2 halves together and keeping 4wd at the same time.

the clutch disc are the same ..... the pressure plate, slave cylinder and throwout bearing are different.

My w58 tranny had well over 300,000 miles on it and it took 14psi for a year and half with a heavy duty pressure plate and 6 puck disc before it started to show any sign of fatigue ...... So i cant complain really but now i am waiting for my r154 to come so i can go boosting again........ aaaahhhhh boost
