w58 on 7mgte?

will a mkiii w58 (currently on a ge) bolt right up to a 7mgte or does it have to be a r154?

I used a fresh built 58 with a GT3040R .63ar, it started showing signs of distress within weeks as that Turbo combination was a Tq Monster...

I made 390 ft lbs of torque to the wheels through my W58 last year. Ran it like that for a year or so, still using the same trans without any problems, I drove it hard pretty regularly too. No saying what will happen if you have sticky tires and dump the clutch.

I'd expect it to eat gear teeth like a fat chick on a corncob

Been running a rebuilt w58 on 8-11 lbs with a stock ct-26 for over 10k miles. No problems, full boost every time I drive.

Any more and you'd want an r154. Clutch dumps don't help anything, lol.

Get a good PP and clutch. I'm making around 12 psi on a CT26, and my W58 holds like a champ.
