I got a chance to open it & look at it before i went to class, but quality is superb.

Will hopefully be able to put it on today. Have to write a paper for Sociology :(

...just a FYI, incase you haven't checked the groupbuy thread, I'm starting up what will probably be my last batch order of bushings, meaning that I will no longer do them in the group-buy style, but rather stocking them and shipping them out as they are ordered. ...but I will also be raising the price substantially, so get your orders in now.

...fyi, the current order is definitely my last batch order. Interested buyers after this point will pay a higher price, but it will ship out same or next business day.

Demand has dropped off, and it is taking longer to get these buys through.

Time to buy is now, two weeks from now, price goes up.

Billym, you don't have any more pics of the installation process? I don't seem to understand how it really goes. More further away pics? :) All the layers have to go (so only the bare metal will be left?). Epoxy goes on the outer sides of the bronze bushing so it sits there solidly (epoxy has to be rock-hard one, yes?)? And what is RTV ? Why do we need it on the top of the bushing?
I think I'll do it now, as the trans is in pieces :)

Thanks

Btw. how much more sound is there now coming from the gearbox?
There was already some more noise after SOGI shifter ''mod'', so just wondering, what it'll be after this mod.

I haven't realized any more noise, though by construction alone, there should be some more. ...the r154 is similar in socket makeup to the w58 socket with my bronze bushing adhered in.

I thought that I had asked this in here, but apparently not:

Billy- Will this kit work in the w56 4x4 Toyota Truck transmissions? If so, I'd be down with another set. Let me know. :)

I honestly couldn't tell you... It would be up to a person with that gearbox to pull the shifter and measure/photograph the inner socket.

A reminder, midnight tonight is the cut-off for the groupbuy and likewise, the groupbuy pricing. Get your orders is NOW and they'll ship out within ten days or so... ...otherwise, you order from stocked parts and pay a higher price.

Are you still making these? If not could you send me the specs and measurements on the brass piece? Im almost ready to make up my own on the lathe but the car is my daily driver so I cant pull apart the transmission to measure what exactly id need.

but, if you are still making them/still have a kit around id be very interested.
