VVTI to Non VVTI

I have a NON VVTI GTE head and have a VVTI intake manifold. I need to know if the manifold will work or not. I dont have lower runners for the intake or I would have just mounted it and figured it out myself.

So will a vvti intake (I would swap the throttle body) work on a non vvti head?

Ive searched here and SF, and found nothing really. Some guys said just swap the throttle bodies, others just said plain out NO. So I need a definite answer please.

On the 2J it's the same. That's why when you buy intake gaskets there is no vvt-i or non option. There might be something with the EGR system though.
