VPC-Safc Problem

Am running into a problem where i got a FFIM with the Q45 TB. Running VPC-safc with the 550 chip. I can add/substract fuel with the safc- just fine. My problem that once am in full throttle. It falls flat on its face around 75% on the SAFC eventhough i got plenty more to go. But i can back up to a certian throttle and i'll start increasing my boost just fine. Just when i hit WOT it falls -off. We've read X-man faq where he had it set at .385 and same problem still occurs. I was just curious if anybody had this setup or any advice that could help me out.

I might be able to help you as I have pretty much the same set-up as you. What are you trying to say when you say "It falls flat on its face...." :icon_bigg I'm having trouble understanding. Are you saying you are not getting more than a 75% throttle position reading on the SAFC? Give me a little more detail of your problem to see If I can be of any help.

When i try to hit full throttle it just falls flat on its face. My SAFC reads 100% full throttle but am not there yet. But i still have more pedal to get to WOT. Its not fuel cut( kinda like somebody just disconnected the battery of the car). Am running 650cc injectors if that helps so am pretty rich right now.

Also... we've tried taking out the safc and vpc and just ran the stock MAF and still the same problem.

do you have the afc wired AFTER the vpc?

yep, also whats weird we can unplug the tps and the car will run fine at WOT.. the only problem is that it reads 1.654 or 31% constant on the safc.

So we might think we have a bad tps:
On that there is like 4 different options:
tps with multi link suspension(with or without)
tps with traction control(with or without)
and than it lists 3 different ones by part number but doesnt match the numbers on the tps.

so the question is which one is the right one or does it matter.

i was under the impression 99% of the tps ranges are 0-5v. its possible you have a defective one. if you got it from a yard its possible it has moisture damage.
