not sure if I should post this here or in the photography or supra videos area feel free to move if that's a more suitable area

recently I won a video camera in a raffle similar to a gopro its call the contour roam (looks to retail for $200) so I took it down to car show/cruising ocmd where alot of non and street legal cars just "drive" up and down the main strip :naughty:

so while driving up and down the strip I took some video not a whole lot because we were all watching and didn't have the best weather for the whole weekend this year

Im looking for something to filter some of the about 2 hours of video I have (make like 1 hour 5 minutes) is there a good program or two i could use? free? have to pay for?

if I upload 2 or 3 minutes to photobucket it seems to take a while and if the video is too long it give me some error, so just curious to what you guys are using or if you have any suggestions

I know gopro has its own software for editing and such have you checked for the contour?

it has its own but it doesn't really do anything but open up when I hook it up to my comp maybe ill have to check some more on the site

all it seems to do it maybe favorite and section of the movie and that's it (like 30seconds to 3 minutes) but i'd like to have each of those say 2 minutes make one 6 minute vid not three separate videos if you understand what im trying to say lol

i've used the windows one that came with windows xp very straight forward. i used to make videos of videogames when i was 14 and add in music then special effects inbetween player kills. lol

I love my Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11.

Windows movie maker, the latest version, is pretty good and the price is right.

+1 I was about to say that. Or whatever Apple includes in their computers nowadays if that's what you got.

+1 Sony Vegas Pro is pretty much the top pimp stuff out there for home editing. It's expensive as hell, but that's what torrents are for.
